  • The dog called off fine, and his out was good when it was verbal, but the choke off was bad .... he wasn't giving the dog any commands. Nice dog, though

  • Could stand some polishing, but that's a VERY nice dog.

  • he doesn't want to let go. may need more training lol

  • The K9 Unit dogs can attack anyone.

  • This is a terrible demo. Lawsuit against the Newport News Police Dept. is very likely with K-9 handlers such as these.

The helper does not even understand the basic fundementals of catching dogs

  • While K-9 TYSON of the Weldon (NC) Police Department is not related to former heavyweight boxing champ Mike TYSON, the motorist K-9 TYSON and his handler searched, HAYWOOD A. HArrELL of VESTA Drive in Raleigh could evoke another boxer: Roy LaVESTA Jones Jr. of PENsaCOLA, the seat of eSCAMbia County, Florida. Also born on DEC. 30th: Author JOSEPH RUDYard KipLING, whose poem "IF" was a 1985 eighth grade requirement for some middle school students. The KIP start of KIPling reminds of college prep

  • It adds up even if you don't' consider mathematics in the "middle school 1980s" OR the Daily Herald story being published on Dec. 30--the birthday of sports superstars ELdRICK TONt "Tiger" Woods (b. 1975) of golf's PGA Tour & LeBron RAYmone JAMES (b. 1984) of the NBA. Presumably, the driver of the car Cpl. Buffaloe & TYSON found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in, HAYWOOD A. HArrELL of VESTA Drive in Raleigh, is unrelated to a local agricultural extension agent with the same name.

  • An example of more great K-9 work comes from a newspaper not far from the Daily Press' coverage area. On Dec. 30, 2009, the Roanoke Rapids Daily Herald published:

K-9 copper sniffing out crooks in Halifax

    by staff writer DELLA Batts

The story says handler, Cpl. Chris Buffaloe, of the Weldon, NC Police Dept., and his K-9, TYSON, assisted in a traffic stop on U.S. Hwy 158 near Weldon. The vehicle was driven by HAYWOOD A. HArrELL, 50, of VESTA Drive in Raleigh.

    Adding up yet?

  • This demo was done at Achievable Dream Academy.

  • mee in the future hopefully
