Camp Rock 2: Chapter 24

Shane: *looks at the back and sees a quote* What's this?
Mitchie: A quote I made.
Shane: *reads it aloud*
'I'm not that complicated. My complications come out in my songs. All you have to do to be my friend is like me...and listen.'
Mitchie: *shrugs*
Shane: *shakes his head* That is the coolest quote I have ever heard.
Mitchie: *laughs* I doubt that.
Shane: It's true!
(A/N: That is Taylor Swift's quote. It's on the back of her album lyric thing. Again, pretend it's Mitchie's!)
Mitchie: *just laughs and takes her book back*
Shane: Have you ever thought about getting a record deal?
Mitchie: *laughs* Me?! I'm not good enough.
Shane: Hey! I thought I wasn't good enough. Now, I am a superstar and I have girls screaming all over the country for me, and tons of sold-out concerts, and an awesome girlfriend.
Mitchie: *grins* I am awesome.
Shane: *laughs* Wow. You have changed.
Mitchie: *her smile fades* Yeah. Changed.
Shane: Good changed.
Mitchie: *smiles at him*
Shane: *grins stupidly*
Mitchie: *giggles* You're such a dork.
Shane: But I'm your dork!
Mitchie: *grins and pecks him on the lips*
Connie: Mitchie!
Mitchie: Yeah Mom?
Connie: I need your help with the vegetables! You too Shane!
Mitchie and Shane run to the kitchen and help Connie with her vegetable dilemma. They eventually finish and they walk out to see veryone already there and eating.
Shane: Wow. How long were we in there?
Mitchie: *grabs a taco and puts beef and sour cream and cheese on it* I have no idea.
Shane: That's all you put on your tacos?
Mitchie: Yeah. Why?
Shane: *shrugs and puts everything and then some on his*
Mitchie: Did you miss anything?
Shane: *looks back* Nope.
Mitchie: *laughs* Come on.
They walk to their table and sit down with Nate and Caity.
Mitchie: Where's T?
Caitlyn: *giggles* With Andy!
Mitchie and Caitlyn sofly squeel and then giggle at Tess.
Shane: Wow.
Nate: Such girls.
Mitchie: Shut up. Your the one who can't tell Caitlyn your in lo-
Nate: *throws a chip at her*
Mitchie: *shocked and laughing* What was that for!?
Nate: *jerks his head to Caitlyn, who is still looking at Andy and Tess*
Mitchie: *her mouth shapes into an O and she quietly eats her taco*
Shane: *laughs at her*
Mitchie: *wipes her mouth* What?
Shane: That was funny! You were just like, Oh, and then you like, shrunk, and took a huge bite of your taco! It was funny.
Mitchie: *laughs* I am a funny person.
Shane and Nate look at her.
Mitchie: Sometimes.
They all laugh and Caitlyn snaps her attention back to them. They all just talk about random stuff, and avoid the topic of Nate not-so-secretly in love with Caitlyn. Soon, dinner is over, and it is time for the Campfire Jam. Shane and Nate are chillin in Mitchie's, Caitlyn's, and Tess's cabin.
Shane: Are you guys gonna sing?
Mitchie: Solo-ly.
Shane: Solo-ly?
Mitchie: WHATEVER!
Shane: *laughs* So. Out of your 17 songs?
Mitchie: Heh. 18.
Shane: Right. Out of your 18 songs, what are you gonna sing?
Mitchie: I dunno. You choose.
Shane: YESS! *grabs her book and flips through the songs*
Tess: Jeez, M! You have 18 songs?!
Mitchie: *laughs* Yeah. Why?
Tess: That's a lot.
Mitchie: *laughs* I guess. What are you singing?
Tess: *laughs* I HAVE NO CLUE!
Mitchie: Wow, really? Usually, you'd be preparing for these things before camp even starts.
Tess: *shrugs* I am not going crazy. I'm just gonna sing. A song. That I have not chosen yet. Crap. *reaches to her songbook and flips through it* Wow. I really was a shallow person.
Mitchie: Huh?
Tess: *laughs and then throws her book on the floor* All of my songs are about being too cool for someone.
Nate: *grabs the book* Jeez. You weren't kidding. Too Cool, I'm Better, See Me Winning, You Losing? Sheesh! You really were shallow. *hands the book to Nate*
Tess: Gee, thanks. Love you too.
Nate: *laughs and holds the book over the trash can*
Tess: Go for it.
Nate: *drops it into the trash*
Tess: I guess I won't be singing tonight!
Mitchie: Hey, Tess? Can I...give you a song?
Tess: Nah. They're your songs. It probably wouldn't sound right.
Mitchie: So? Make it your own! I can spare one. *laughs*
Tess: *laughs* Well, if you want to give me one, I'll be glad to take it.
Mitchie: *grins* YAY! Okay. Shane?
Shane: I GOT IT! THIS ONE! *points to a page*
Mitchie: *reads it and smiles* Wake Up America?
Shane: YEAH! It's like...enviromental. I like it. *looks at Nate and laughs* I wish we had a 'save the enviroment' song.
Nate: *laughs* Yeah. That would be good for our rep.
Shane: *nods and then turns back to Mitchie* You gonna do it?
Mitchie: *nods* But, I'll need a band.
Nate: *looks at Shane*
Shane: *looks at Nate*
Nate: We got you a band!
Mitchie: *smiles* Great. The chords and everything are in there. You guys can just rip out the pages. I'm gonna change.
Shane and Nate nod and rip out their pages and run out.
Mitchie: *grabs book and flips through it and then stops on a song* Tess. Do this one.
