Emo Stereotype - looks compared to feelings

This is mainly about the emo stereotyped looks compared to actually feelings and actions. It's my opinion and you can like it or hate it. I'm just tired of stereotype bashing, especially on the emos. go ahead and stereotype me, I don't believe in them.

hi i just wanna say that i totally agree with you, i've had various arguments with my friends since they think i shouldnt hang out with "emo" people because ill became depressed or something. It's so gay, people who stereotype are just ignorant.

uhm yes on a bases but emo is actually a person who enjoys teh finer music of metal screamo all that and get feeling from it... You can have a mo hawk and be emo... You can be fat and be emo. You can be black and be emo, I actually have a friend thats black and asked can i be emo and i said do you enjoy the music and get feeling she said yes but i dont look emo and... I slapped my head

some people know NOTHING about being emo, i looked at this utube vid of two (airhead) girls poking fut at emos by trying to "dress" like them, they looked more like hoes in dark make-up, they didnt look emo at all, second of all, not all emos cut themselves, and even when they do, its NOT always their wrists, grr i gat so worked up over these stupid steryotypes!

people can have feeling but the emo thing is drowning yourself in the emotion. you have to get over shit and it should give you a drive to make things better for yourself. some people think its like a dark side haha no its not, if kill someone with no remorse or feeling that is something dark right there. there is darkness that lives in alot of people that makes them lie, steal, kill among other things. i wanna get a response good or bad. peace
