This week, the undisputed champion of Oswego Harborfest is decided annually at Galletta's, as all other local speedways -- pay or not; big car or small kart -- are off for the sake of the massive, crowded, messy and somewhat pointless city festival that overtakes Oswego, New York every year. This means any skilled driver worth a damn who is not a pussy shows up to race. (Yes, that's calling a lot of people out. Plenty arrive-and-drive karts available AND easy-to-follow and super-affordable kart specs mean you can race ASAP.) This is their story.

Galletta's Greenhouse Karting Club (AKA Galletta's Go-Karts) is a free motorsport racing organization that runs weekly June through Fall with karts that cost 1/10th of the average racing kart in a no-charge backyard dirt speedway behind Galletta's Greenhouse in Oswego, NY.
