  • So these are pictures and not video clips? either way this is cool I like L.A :)

  • @fitzgerald434 Yes, they are all still images sequenced together in time-lapse format to give them the appearance of motion. :)

  • Great job. I think I met you at the viewing point on the west side of the bridge last sat late afternoon. My name is Teddy

  • @twinturboteddy Hello Teddy. You may have met a few of the other photographers I was working with (John and Byron) But I think I saw you as well, carrying around a Nikon 200 f/2, or 300 2.8. Hope you got some quality shots as well. - Darren

  • Thank you! The length of time for each shot depended on the scene. The closing of the 405 was a 7 hour time lapse, and the re-opening was about 4 hours. But many scenes, like details of the bridge tear-down, were sequences of shots done over 20-30 minutes spans. Everything in this piece is still images. Not a single clip used video to capture the action. -Darren

  • @nemoall10 no crap. he was being facetious.

  • @anormalno it's probably on purpose, dummy

  • the length of the video (4:05) HAS to be a pure coincidence... :)

  • That was a really nice vid. The images were great and I really enjoyed the music. Thank for pointing it out to me Andy!
