Liz Frser has never made a secret of the fact that she sings made-up gibberish lyrics. Why do people try to "figure out" what she's saying -SHE'S NOT SAYING ANYTHING! I've been a huge fan for years. Only on the "Heaven Or Las Vegas" album did she begin to have actual words, but by then the band was just about finished.

Word, to cindersguy. Though, it doesn't matter. Most everything they did was gold. I heard about them when I was in high-school. I'm 42, now. My friend said, "This is music angels make." I've never looked back. We weren't goths or suburban kids, either. Oil Patch, babies. It touched us.

All art is in the eye of the beholder. We hear what we want to hear from her vocal improvisations. And each interpretation is valid.

@cindersguy Actually, Cocteau Twins' first Album Garlands and their other two Songs from their early beginnings Sugar Hiccup and From The Flagstones are the only things where Liz Fraser's Words are more approachable for listeners to understand.

It sounds Gaelic- but, yes, she makes up 'words' on a lot of songs in order to give her voice 'articulation'. That VOICE, those EYES.... I'm hypnotized!

She is just the best dam vocalist there is, what she does with her words and how she sings them is truly unbelievable...

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you to whomever did this!!!

Mmmm. Looks a lot like guesswork or from one of those sites were people write what they think she says..
Still, benefit of the doubt and all that, it's more information than I had...
