I too have stripped and refinished 2 older dressers, one wardrobe, and a 4 poster bed.. all brought me to the realization that refinishing is REALLY hard work, and havent done naything for quite some time. I LOVE making old things beautiful again.. so i know whay u love doing it too. so cool to know u like some of the same things ! beautiful job on the vanity ! xoxox

Looks so so nice now.The hard work was deff. worth it :-)) I have just picked up a very nice oak Bed which someone had painted white and am just waiting for some sun so i can get that going.Would be good to see the other pieces you did.

thanks for the info . i have a commode that i want to do something with . i was going to just paint it . this looks pretty easy so maybe i'll try this .

I am in love with your vanity.it is so pretty.Thanks for the how to on re finishing.I will be able to put it to use.Where in NC did you live?I just moved back to SC from Wilmington.Lovely antique stores there.
