@infinitelink All I said was that "si un dia me faltas" does not mean "if one day you are missing me". So your comment does not make any sense as a reply. I´m aware of the multiple meanings of faltar, among other reasons, because I am form Spain and spanish is my first language. Saludos.

@ericktm The me is objective, not nominative. Meaning the "faltas" is a transitive, not intransitive verb; i.e. that means "faltar" here has to do with feeling of lack, need, etc., TOWARDS someone or something else, rather than ceasing to exist or disappearing from someone's life.

@drkarnov Actually faltar means a lot more than that, having many senses and used with much nuance of significances possible; only beginners (not just in Spanish, but in learning and understanding languages generally) think words are so restricted.
