Here is a 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT that is up for grabs on ebay and Craigslist as well as the local green sheets here in sunny Houston. This Fastback has less than 49K miles and is in " just came out the factory" condition. AC blows, lights operate and the drive is excellent. I have had many Fieros and I have put KYB shocks and springs but this one rides smoother than the others with suspension upgrades..I was amazed by that..So when they first sold these from the dealer they were in tip top shape..Well this Fiero has those qualities, of it just bieng produced.

  • Wow man, awesome car! I'll be looking for my first car soon, and I really like this one. Do you think it's considered good "first car material?" My #1 choice right now is a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LS, but I bet that'll change soon. Also, what kinda mileage does it get?

  • Well my car will be up for sale on ebay here soon.. I have the car lowered with new shocks struts and 19 inch Lowenharts.. Ony 50,000 miles

  • well i still got a while to go before i can even get close to affording a Fiero, so i'm not going to get yours.. especially since it's in such nice condition, way too expensive. but do send me a message when you put it up on eBay.

  • Its on eBay now with the goodies installed.

  • I imagine it sold. Hopefully to a collector to sit along side one of the 1000 Solstice GXP coupes.

  • beautiful car, its rare to see one kept up so well and in original condition. i hope mine shines like that when its done

  • beautiful.......

  • Don't sell it.

    Keep it nice like that.

  • Very nice car !!

What is the name of the song ??

  • This is true... But in 88' Pontiac actually got the car right

  • Safer? compared to what? 84-87? The space frame never changed.

  • @mooseinabox5 The more ideal model is the 1988 fiero if your looking to buy one because it is safer and MUCH better mechanically. The 88 fiero was ALMOST my first car but I ended up getting a 1997 VW Passat (love it). BTW, the fiero drives like a hockey puck in the snow, not safe for winter. Regardles, the Pontiac Fiero is my ALL TIME favorite car! Good luck for your car shopping!

  • Fieros are affordable. I bought my '86 GT for $850 dollars and it is a daily driver. I've owned 4 and the most I've ever paid for a Fiero is $2,000.

If you're looking for good gas mileage, the V6 Fiero is NOT the car to get. They get poor gas mileage even with a manual. Rated is 18-ish city, 24-27 hwy.

I wouldn't use a Fiero as a daily driver unless you have another car (or another Fiero like me). You HAVE to be mechanically inclined to own one 'cause a lot of shops won't work on them.
