His career started as a dancer and singer of the pop band Take That in 1990, which he left in 1995 to launch his solo career.

Robbie Williams as a solo artist has sold more albums in the United Kingdom than any other British solo artist in history and has won more BRIT Awards than any other artist to date.[1] His album sales stands at over 55 million worldwide.[2]

Williams entered in the The Guinness Book of World Records when he announced his World Tour for 2006, selling 1.6 million tickets in one single day.[3] He has been the recipient of many awards, including ten BRIT[4] and six ECHO awards.[5] In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame, after being voted as the Greatest artist of the 1990s.[6]

He appears in the list of the all-time Top 100 biggest selling albums in the United Kingdom six times.[7] It is also estimated he is currently the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America at the moment with over 3 million sold

my 10 year old likes this because she wanted to learn violin which she did in a few weeks and which they had never seen anyone learn so fast but unfortunatly ,no more funds for pennyburnprimary school so she couldnt learn anymore,a bit sad really as she is so very clever.karen in pennyburn,kilwinning,scotland
