A sample of what prophetic praise is all about. The last evening of the 2005 Joy Worship Conference (themed, "God of Wisdom") was an extreme night of passionate worship. Filled with evangelistic words, intercession, and healing. The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12 that as Christians we do not struggle against flesh and blood, but against the world forces of darkness in heavenly places... [abridged] - Prophetic Praise is a dramatic display of Biblical truths and for the encouragment of the church. As worshipers, creative by nature, we are expressing our praise to God as well as being encouraged to share the Gospel of peace. The book of Revelation reveals that one day the nations will be healed. We look forward to that day. Until then, we are fervent [intense] in our devotion to God so that we will remain strong in the days of persecution. The foundation of our faith is Jesus as stated in the Apostle's Creed. We are many different Christian and Messianic denominations worshiping God together in unity. http://www.JoyConference.com & http://www.propheticsong.org

  • There is only 9 verses for a banner or standard in the entire Bible but people make a doctrine about it.Extreme does not mean normal. If you run around waving flags normally? Where was the mighty altar call and the people praying for the lost? "To the nations? What about america?

  • @latabanza No making a doctrine around banner, saying you have to do it, would be wrong. There was a mighty altar call and people praying for the lost and calling out to Nations and America.... this is one TINY SNIPPET - one video shot of any entire weekend.

  • Upon further study of the prophetic word given which used "violent praise" and also referred to a particular Scripture- it means "Break Out" as in sheep breaking out of a temporary pen. It was common for Shepherds to create a night shelter which the sheep would break out of in the morning when it was time to graze. The better translation or modern English term (to cause less misunderstanding) would have been "Break Out Praise."

  • Can I order a copy of this DVD with the prophetic worship?

  • @kiekie84 Interesting comment. The Bible says not to murder, which is not the same as defending oneself as in the word, "kill." Obviously we kill for food, for example, which is not the same as murder.

  • @Jerome9055 Yeah, but even that Scripture is misunderstood. It means that the forceful ones with courage and God's power by the Holy Spirit are the ones that will advance the Kingdom. Those that will take initiative and action and do the will of God on earth as it is in Heaven. -not the sleeping pew sitters and hypocrites.

  • @billingsdad65 You weren't there so you don't know what the impact was and you would only be able to access the impact it had on you by the video. Making insults against women in ministry (which is BIBLICAL) is unacceptable. There were plenty of MEN and a proper MAN covering if you are so concerned about that. Some like, some don't, so what- we aren't doing this for the approval of others, LOL.

  • @shawlom77 Okay, I would like you to read my book on Biblical Dance which gives the HEBREW First/Old Testament and GREEK Second/New Testament references to DANCE on my web site's shop. Prophetic Mime and Drama is even in the Bible! I once thought that dance was not Biblical until I got an education.

  • @LeMagdalin No, don't be sorry. I detect that you are concerned. I would like to bring some comfort to you if I can. We disagree on women in leadership so there's no point arguing that, but we do have some common ground. We do believe in the Apostle's Creed and the Love of our Redeemer. The prophetic is in the Biblical words that were spoken and titled on the video. We are depicting a Scripture. This is a creative expression, like a drama. It may be different from what you like, but its not bad.

  • @essi8757 Harsh and Hateful- you don't know us. You say that we are "slick people" and that is very sad that you think so, but you are entitled to your own suppositions and paranoia. We are all walking a journey and some are at a place of understanding and some are not- no condemnation, just give us the benefit of the doubt even if it just seems too different. Maybe there are some things you can learn from people that are different from yourself.

  • @JohnAndreww84 We all have personal preferences and its okay to worship w/o a flag or w/o raising your hands. Some people prefer hymns and that is okay, too. The purpose of worship is connecting w/God. The beauty is that we can express our love and adoration to God in creative ways. Yes, it may look "chaotic," because we are various individuals not dancing in a single unified choreography- its as simple as that. Yet, we are dancing in unity by the Holy Spirit. I assure you, God is not confused.

  • @Strefanash No one is perfect at loving, but we should all try. Yes, w/o love in our hearts and w/o growth in our lives it is ALL MEANINGLESS. Yet comparing this prophetic praise to sensuality and self indulgence is far reaching. We are properly clothed and our focus is on God and we are connecting with the Holy Spirit. This is also one tiny SNIPPET & doesn't give the bigger picture of the entire evening. Worshiping God is HUMBLING. We worship the ONE TRUE GOD- no idols!

  • Worship in spirit and in truth, not in the flesh.
