i remember when i was younger i thought andy mac,bob b,tony hawk,bucky.. were invincible...vert has changed so much though..basically everyone skates street nowadays...if it wasnt for andy mac and all the other guys noone would even be skating rite now..there the ones who started everything...and yet there the ones who get bashed.

To add to that, Andy Mac is pretty good at park too. He can do what most guys can do on flat ground only he does it inverted while spinning a 540.

I don't understand why the whole skateboard industry hates Andy Mac. He's one of the best vert skaters around, but he rides for all thses second rate companies. He should be on some major company's roster, like Birdhouse or Flip, but he's always got stuck riding for, like, Powell's blank brand or some shit lol.

Here's a few stats for the haters out there...

Most X-games medals of all time counting at 19, winning the World Cup Skateboard Series 8 years in a row, in 1998 he was selected as "Best overall skater", he is credited for the invention of the Mega Ramp, the first to land a backflip, and his experience allows him to skate street, skateparks, vert, pools, and mini-ramps.

All of these stats were taken from informative sites. How's that for a bad skater?

he's a damn good skater, but his airs are simply not high enough and he's got no style imo. that's what's holding him back... he's like the opposite of sandro dias, who seems to have only five different tricks, but he makes them look good!!

@dapper64 Positiv skateboards, he also uses bones wheels and I think he uses fury trucks, but im not 100% on the trucks

And I remember in '99 he built a secret backyard ramp, with a drop-in 4 stories tall and 4 ft. wide. No audience, no safety nets, just Andy being the first person in the world to jump over fifty feet on a skateboard. Danny put his mega- quarter pipe on the end of a similar set-up, and proceeded to take ALL the credit publicly despite numerous opportunities to tell the truth about whose idea it was. I'm not taking anything from Danny on where he's gone with it though - just sayin' what's real.
