3ds max car model of a 240sx (wip)

Hi, this is a car model I've been working on for the past 5 days on and off. I can't stress it enough that this is still a WIP (work in progress)! Enjoy!

Hey bro, I've seen your red Ka-T s13 on the forums - nice ride! This model is long done now though, interior, wheels, just no engine cause I'm lazy lol. I am learning autocad and inventor in school right now, interesting programs. Can't say that I could make this in Inventor yet lol.

how many years experience do u have? I used autocad but only for 2d mechanical drafting and that was back in high school (6 years ago). How difficult do u think it would be to learn to use 3d max?

haha funny, I am learning autocad right now as part of my cad/cam course. It is a lot different than 3ds max, but your 2d drawing experiences in cad may help you visualizing your creations into 3d. Still, 3ds and cad both have a totally different interface so it will take time to learn that as with everyone else. But as soon as you catch on to that, I think your past experiences will kick in to help create your 3d objects. Have fun!

Oh no man that's someone else but I know who your referring to lol. I got a white 91 hatch, its mint but stock.. :( oh and my name on son is "slim" :)

thanks! I'm an aircraft mechanic now, but it's still fun to doodle on these programs, nice job. I love 240's and before I start my project car i was wantin to draw it, what better way!
