(2001)

Director : Patty Ivins Specht

In The Final Days, Producer-Director Patty Ivins Chronicles Marilyn Monroe's Final, Aborted Feature Film, Something's Got to Give, Which Was Ultimately Shut Down After The Star Was Dismissed From The Production. Beyond Monroe's Fragile Emotional And Physical Health, This Well-Crafted Profile Examines The Financial Crisis Facing Her Studio As Well As The Mounting Frustration Of Meticulous Director George Cukor And His Cast, Including Costar Dean Martin, As Monroe's Absences Drove The Shoot Over Budget. The 2001 Documentary, Which Was Previously Available Only As Part Of The Diamond Collection, Concludes With A 40-minute Reconstruction Of Footage Completed For The Feature, Which Would Subsequently Be Reshot As A Vehicle For Doris Day And James Garner, Move Over, Darling. --Sam Sutherland.

  • She was a beautiful woman with a tortured soul. I like her, but I don't really like that she had some affairs with married men. And I kinda think she married playwrite Authur Miller to boost her career. When she realized that he didn't do much to elevate her career she started separating herself from him. Yeah, I don't know if that's fact.....but it sure looked like it went down like that.

  • I'm not into clothes but this black and white dress is gorgeous!

  • people around her didn't care about her welfare, it's always about money. Shame.

  • She did not get the proper help. Every film she got med from the doctors and the movie makers. Anything to get her on stage. They only cared about keeping her alive trough their production. But alwaysit was Monroe, not the attitude towards her. But what would had happened if she didn't die? Would she get more job at her job. What about the 70s. Where would the spit be? She would have ended up like that bitch in the movie Sunset Bouleward

  • @keishamania Like you said tortured soul. Looking for love in all the wrong places...

  • look at that body. she has hips like Christina Henfdricks. thats what models would look like if hetrosexuals ran it.

  • Its not her problem because 20th Century Fox is going broke. She shouldn't have to pay Elizabeth Taylor's debts. Hmmm... wonder why they call it a "slave" contract.

  • You should blame 20th Century Fox, they pushed her too hard when she wasn't in a healthy state, both mentally and physically. Its disgusting and insidious. She should not have done that film. AT ALL...

  • @jamesdutton93 Probably

  • @Monsterlover81 it's just as bad.

  • @jamesdutton93 bahahaha you actually believe that? wow
