Of all the versions of this speech I've seen, this one is probably my favorite. You get a good sense of Hamlet's exhaustion and his yearning for rest, which death seems to promise. Then there is a clear shift when he considers that death might bring dreams as well as sleep. Yes, it's unfortunate that the list of life's pains is cut out, as I think it's one of the highlights of the speech, but the delivery is so perfect that I can forgive that. Actors playing Hamlet--please take notes!
