"Kidnapping. Car theft. Murder. Vampires. . . . Kerry's got quite a night ahead of her."
Based on the young adult novel by Vivian Vande Velde. part of my Senior Project, a feature-length screenplay; Stevenson University, 2008. It's nearly midnight when Kerry's little brother Ian asks her to drive to the laundromat to retrieve his lost teddy bear. Little did she know that this situation might get her killed; what she finds there are three men accusing a boy, Ethan, of being a vampire. Kerry, thinking they're all crazy, helps Ethan escape. Once away, he assures her that he'll go to the police himself and everything would be fine. But then her father doesn't pick her up from her after-school job and she walks smack into Ethan. He offers her a lift home, and this scene ensues.
I would like to do more with this project, as a feature, at a later date.

@Oreo1122331 - If you dislike Twilight, I highly recommend this book: Companions of the Night by Vivian Vande Velde. It's very good.
The premise of this scene (and the book) is that after a strange occurrence the night before, Kerry's father and brother are kidnapped by a vampire hunter, who is convinced that Kerry herself is a vampire. It turns out that he believes this because Ethan, here, is, in fact, a vampire.
