Organic Eggs vs. Conventional Farm Eggs, Free Range Chickens, & Ethical Animal Treatment Vital Farms

Are organic eggs really more healthy than conventionally farmed eggs? What the health benefits of eating pasture raised eggs? Organic free-range eggs have less cholesterol, less saturated fat and higher levels of Vitamin A, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E and Beta carotene. Some studies have in fact shown that organic eggs have more nutrition and are more healthy than non-organic eggs.

  • what no roosters? do you get the chickens from organic breeders? maybe your methods is free range, but what happens to the chicken after the egg laying period? I have free range chickens with roosters and we can leave the fertilized eggs to hatch and take only the non fertile eggs ( yes the chicken lays eggs without the rooster, but even in a clutch of eggs...there are unfertile eggs) and our hens grow happy , old and still work as our bug patrol!

  • lovely. thank you for all you do. Your are a saint!

  • you're lovely and so are your chickens. thank you for you're pursuit of splendor.

  • @jaynek23 Thats racist..love and peace

  • So if the eggs are never fertilized then there are no baby chicks hatching? Also, are oyster shells still feed to the chickens? Is there any other animal products feed to them? Thanks:)
