Ron is a pet red fox from the USA: I got him directly from a special pet breeder when he was 6 weeks old. He will be 3 years old in April, 2011. XD
A pet fox is not for everybody; it is difficult and a challenging adventure that requires sacrifice on your part (and your stuff!).. Always do extensive research before getting a fox or other exotic on a whim.

Ron is a pet red fox I bought from a licensed exotic animal breeder, in Oklahoma, captive-bred and hand-raised. My state of Arkansas allows pet foxes without any permit needed.
He enjoys a large outdoor habitat and also a small indoor caged spot in my living room. Foxes are said to make 'bad' pets, but I would rather say foxes make wonderful pets!... just rather destructive, moody pets, NOT FOR CHILDREN.

It's never recommendable to pet any wild animal, I'm sure you know that, as much as you certainly want to so bad! Bonding is very important to achieve when the fox is young, the first several months you have the baby. A fox in the wild isn't going to around you all day enough to form a bond to this degree. Though it's always fun to feed the poor hungweeee foxiee xD

You are so lucky to be able to own a fox without a permit!! I have done so much research on foxes, and I would love to own one, but you need a special license in ontario and to get that license you either need to own a zoo or use the pet for educational purposes......rediculous!!! So much for that dream!

In other words, Ontario does NOT have a permit for one to simply own a fox as a personal pet. Many states in the USA have a permit that allows personal ownership as a pet, such as Ohio, Illinois, Florida, etc.
Could you message me all the info and contact info you have from your research for Ontario or Canada as a whole? I get asked often.

I must say, Eric, You and Ron fascinate me. He fascinates me because, well, hes a fox! and just being a fox is fascinating! And you fascinate me because you seem to truely care for him and love him the way he should be. I have alot of respect for people like you. Animals can teach us alot. Peace, from Canada.

This morning, just as I was getting my order at the coffee shop and about to walk out the door, the same song in your video here came over the speakers. The first thing I thought of was Foxy Ron. (I don't think I've heard of this song till I saw your video almost a year ago) I don't think you could have picked a better song for him. I also realized that I never faved this video... Hope you two are enjoying your winter season this year. -waves

how cool!!! I totally do associate RonRon with Fireflies now too! lol, I even sung it at the karaoke at MFM furcon back in september, dedicated to my wittle ronronz!
