The Elevator Card trick. I'm not going to reveal or explain it. I Saw Jeff Teo's performance of this effect, the elevator card trick, and I had to learn it. Jeff says you can learn it from Shigeo Futagawa's lecture notes. I think "Elevator Card" which Futagawa published was a reworking of a move that Chris Kenner invented called "Shifty." (No one seems to totally agree. Maybe they both discovered this effect independently.) This is my first video on youtube. I hope you enjoy it.

  • well that was just magical

  • @monkeyman822 Thanks.

  • hmmm, i think if it starts at the very bottom of the deck it would be much better, makes the impact so much harder

  • @CopyCat1995 I don't even know why, but I just never thought of that.

  • is this done by doing "the pass"

  • @00GF0O0, no. it's not the pass, or any pass. (The cards remain in the exact same order from start to finish, with the exception of the card that rises through the deck.)

  • Try licking off or washing off the cheeto dust off your fingers, It makes the performance look better.

  • very similar to chris kenners shifty, you are right in that it may be the same move. i guess the guy who invented this may have just came up with the idea to switch the orientation for better cover.

  • Man if u make a tutorial u would get alot more subsribers and also get alot more views people are looking for the tutorial at the moment

  • @nightcardistry Hi, I think that is actually a large part of the reason so many people have watched this video. Somehow, the guitar makes this video 10 times better.
