The first ever record by Billy Thorpe and the original Aztecs -- written by Tony Barber as was the flip side "You Don't Love Me" -- recorded in 1964 on the Linda Lee label -- remember that? They switched to Parlophone and the next record was "Mashed Potato" and then they took off...there's a little bit of noise on this but I cleaned it as much as I could without affecting the sound.

  • I am sure somewhere along the way Tony recorded this song,. Maybe on an album?

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. I own a Linda Lee 45rpm but it's pretty scratchy. Have been searching for better copy for years but it's never included on any compilation. Such a shame as it's a fantastic track....and you've done it proud!!

  • I've always wanted to hear that song. It was Thorpies first single and was written by Aztec Tony Barber. Thanks for uploading!

  • it's a wonderful song. He had a warm voice.
