CEBUANOS are really frank on their emotions. I think they did the right thing in booing PACQUIAO to discourage him from running during the 2007elctions, it just show that CEBUANOS are wise VOTERS. It would have been overkill and shame had Cebu actually adopted Pacquiao as an "adopted son". A proposal for that crazy idea was made in early 2006 (following the win over Erik Morales), which eventually got scrapped. Is Pacquiao qualified to be Cebuano? No no no.

I got respect for the guy, so its up to him where he leads his life. He may learn from instances like these, and be a better person. Either way, pacquiao keeps learning. Hope he does not carry the filth of politics in his fights, it may be a bit of burden. We expect much from this guy, I hope he does not let us down.
