So when he wasn't hanging around with Archie Bunker, ol' Barney Hefner was putting in time on this dopey show? I hope they paid him well. Forty years ago B.S. ("Banana Splits") were awesome. What did I know? I was only six. Watching it now as a middle-aged nostalgia fan, I have to admit this show was awful. "Peewee's Playhouse" would look brutal, I'm sure. :-(

@motowng57 I think they might've been tripping on acid at the time with all the visuals and what not. This scene barely makes any sense but the tunes are grand!
