Great Morning flight! I think I'm getting a to know my new Vortex-ET from ArtHobby.com
Hitec Aurora 9 is a great radio. I did some elevon/flapperon mixing.
A bit of added curvature in elevon mixing and flaps provides great spiraling settings for thermals.
Glider is quite stable as seen on a video.
Landing flaps are about 60 degrees and a bit of up ailerons make it quite stable on final and drops the speed dramatically.
I've tried both - high and low speed on final with full flaps - slow speed seems to work better for a short finals.
Glider will not stall but will drop the altitude very fast on slow approaches.
Flapperon mixing should be turned-off with full flaps as it will actually reverse ailerons on flaps reducing main aileron response.
