Hello,
I have a question about your craft materials that you used. How big are your punching devices?

@kenvu0777 hi jimmy! to answer your question, i'd definitely say the heat that's needed to melt embossing powder would be WAY too strong if you were to emboss something in your hand. it would definitely burn you. i think that was your question?

A Heating Tool is hotter then a Blower Dryer. THe best thing ya can do is save the pennies and buy a heating tool from Stampin up, or any Craft stores - micheals, Jo ann. I have tried the same thing with the blow dryer and it didn't do any good besides warming up my fingers!!!! I hope ya got a heating tool and really enjoy it. Thanks
Theres no way I would use an oven, it would burn the cardstock.

I've done as you've shown, I don't have a heat tool, i was using a hair dryer, but it seems as though i cannot get my embossing powder to melt, and stay in place. I've read that this is supposed to happen fairly quickly. Any advice?

A hairdryer is totally unsuitable for embossing, it blows out way too much air and does not get hot enough to melt the embossing powder. Try applying the embossing powder and then holding the card over the top of a toaster, but definately not a hairdryer, sorry.

There is a brand of heatgun that is white and looks exactly like a mini hairdryer.

How do you use the stylus pen to make the embossing lines? Mind you, I think this method is way easier! I've been making cards and paper crafts for over 2 years now.

There are two kinds of embossing, wet and dry. Dry embossing uses a stencil, stylus and some sort of light box. This is the wet embossing method, the two are totally different and give very different results.
