This work is outstanding! It fascinates me every time I hear it. And this performance is undoubtedly the most revealing and the boldest of all - Mozart's music should be played ALWAYS like this! Thanks for your posting.

Now this is what I call Molto Allegro! I'm wondering exactly how many orchestras in the world can play this as fast as Les Musiciens du Louvre - they're so sharp it's ridiculous. This sort of makes me want to say, "Mozart played Rameau." Admittedly, any faster and it would sound ridiculous, but I think this is very effective in presenting the whirling, charismatic, and martial nature of this piece. It's like a torrent of music, building and building in fugal energy till the very end. Bravo.
