The full context: Lauer asked about how bad morale in this captain's company twice (before this video began), and after both times being told that it was good, he responded with this "I believe you but..." (i.e, telling that company commander he didn't believe him.)
The Company CO, Capt. Sherman Powell, responded by slamming the US media for its biased reporting on US military progress in Iraq. You ask a Soldier the same obnoxious question three times and your gonna get some attitude.

@MegaHungrybear . It's pointless because it is entitled "US Soldier Gives Matt Lauer the Smackdown", which he doesn't. If you think we are there protecting "Freedom", I ask "Freedom for who?". Independant polls of Iraqi's of various ethnic and religious backgrounds showed overwhelmingly that they preferred Saddam to Uncle Sam. And I am the opposite of a liberal. Google I N F O W A R S and get some news that isn't controlled for once.

@Trey73 how is it pointless? id say its pretty clear. sure, bad shit happens over there but if you a liberal news station, theres NEVER any good news. its whine and complain. these soldiers enlisted to protect freedom. many enlisted after the war started. they knew what they were getting into. so? whats the problem? money? thats fucking selfish if so. money is paper. paper for freedom is a pretty damn good trade off if you ask me. go usa!
