  • Wow, are you really that ignorant? Do you really think that it's because they're black and Fidel is 'white'? Fidel is full Cuban as are most of these kids I'm sure with probably some Carribean or African descent and why in the hell would race come into play in boxing? Most of them are the sons of former Cuban champions so please make an intellegent and hopefully factual comment before commenting again.

  • sumply the best documentary about boxe that i ve ever seen. And wonderful also for who is not interested to boxe

  • @samtheboxer14 also how can you say these kids have african descent.....of course they do! Their the descendants of slaves. Most caribbeans in some shape or form have the blood of slaves running through them so don't say something as stupid as they may be from caribbean descent because they ARE caribbeans! There were no caribbeans before them unless your referring to Taino's which i highly doubt. Your not one of those stupid people that think black people originate from Africa and the caribbean.

  • @samtheboxer14 , Fidel (and che for that matter) has been known to make some fairly racist comments in the past, all along the lines of white being more forward thinking and intellectual than blacks. Therefore it would not surprise me if the white cuban kids are made to focus soley on education in extra-curricular activities whilst the black kids are made to pick a sport, in this case boxing.

i don't know for sure, but don't be so ignorant to dismiss claims that fidel has racist tendancies.

  • My point stands. These kids are no different to the kids forced to ride camels in Saudi Arabia for the entertainment and profit of those in power.

  • Unpaid black kids who grow up to be underpaid blacks fighting for the glory of a white elitist dictator. That's how racist Cuba is. As soon as Fidel goes these people can make some real money and stop looking up to him, instead they can look in the mirror and be proud of themselves.

  • can someone tell em the name of the song playing in the background please??
