I am probably not as educated on the Catholic faith as you are, but I do understand it. The difference between you and me is that I believe catholicism is wrong and you believe it is right. Nothing's been misunderstood.

@Ollie7707 Indulgences don't work that way, I as a catholic agree with you that they cannot be sold. That was one of the big problems with the church of the middle ages. Many priests and bishops took advantage of the people, and the pope of that time considered these abuses and tried his best to put a stop it it. Thats one of the reasons why no indulgences are sold at this time. I as a catholic believe that works and faith are needed together for salvation. You must give your entire life to God.

@Ollie7707: I stick to believing that it is the church of Christ. I as a catholic do not pray to Mary as a God. Mary is a human, she is not a God. Yet I do believe that those apart of the victorious triumphant are alive in heaven, and constantly pray for the salvation of the world. I consider saints such as mary to be alive, and to be my friends since they are friend's of Jesus. I cannot consider Mary to have a sinful nature since a sinful corrupt being cannot give birth to a perfect child.

How can catholicism be called a church? What it is is people gathering to follow false doctrine. Catholics follow the doctrine of MEN rather than GOD. God says nothing about praying to Mary. Mary was a human with a sinful nature like the rest of us. God says nothing about buying and selling grace (indulgences). God's grace is sufficient. Catholicism is a very works-oriented religion, while Protestants believe in salvation by FAITH in GOD'S GRACE alone (5 solas).
