Trams will return. They were killed off here and everywhere else after WW2 by the oil industry buying politicians and having them close lines.

Restore the trams to Ashfield,Bronte and La Perouse.Have a tram festival and give the enviroment a chance.I rode the last tram in 1961,what a thrill,but sad.

I couldn't agree more. The contribution they made to keeping Sydney's air clean is unestimable. And so much more efficient and cheaper than diesel.
