That is rare. I've never seen a 16rpm record before until now. I was watching some videos on 78rpm records and a list of suggested videos showed this. I only seen 78s 45s and 33-1/3 LP but never a 16rpm. That's unusual but pretty neat. I shop at a goodwill, maybe I can find a turntable with that speed and some records at that speed. I bought some 78s today.

@MegaGARFISH, they are rare. I have a Jim Reeves album from South Africa on 16rpm. Sounds good!

Gorgeous sax tones....and I finally heard a 16rpm...always thought 16s were talking book stories and so on because of the questionable audio quality but there were certainly no problems here!!

Sublime.

I've got 33 1/3 records that sound worse than this at the last song... Very nice song, very nice sound, very much Dave Brubeck/Paul Demsmond like

Damn, at first I thought there were only 33s and 45s, then I discovered 78s, and now this! This must hold a lot.

that is one really nice BSR made changer. back from when they really were "precision crafted" (it says that near the center of the cheaper deck's tables, funny huh). At that time they really did make nice changers and this one is no exception.

I'm surprised how good the sound is, even near the center! Thanks for posting this!
If this was a 12 inch record (instead of what I assume this is10 inch), I'm guessing it could get 1 hour of music each side.

Somebody was into Stan Getz, wasn't he? (This is by no means a bad thing!) Thanks for posting!

The sound quality is pretty cool for a 16 rpm inner groove! I am shocked!
Thank you for posting this! It does sound better than I thought. What type of turntable is this again?
