hey man, good job. I was waiting for the chorus-- it's a very particular feeling Elliott designed with his progression. You need to listen more carefully to the scale. From Am it doesn't scale up to F the first time, it scales up to Fm7, then G6, D9/F#, then start back and the Am scale goes up to F. Very particular dissonance, I hope you figure it out and understand why I give you this criticism constructively :)
