I like the part where Weaver's character arrives and they shoot her only from the backside and don't show her face, it leaves her kinda distant.

I know, of course, Conan was born in a battlefield, agreeing with his creator Robert E. Howard (1906-1936). But I wonder if Conan's birth, in Marcus Nispel's movie, was based in Snow White's one... ;)

Such an under appreciated movie. This has two very great actors, Weaver and Neill, and the plot is unmistakably creative. It has hints of Cinderella in it, but is undoubtedly about Snow White. I love that the "Evil Queen" is being manipulated by the magic of the mirror. Her child born still and troubled marriage, plus dealing with her stepdaughter, are rather good issues too. believable, but dark. And Snow White falling in love with a thief? Love it. This movie rocks!
