I am proud. I'm not proud that I'm white, I am proud that I'm a decent person. I am proud that if I see someone in need I will help them. I am proud of my culture, but there is no white culture. My culture is that of Ireland, Scotland, and America. Three cultures known for strength through the most difficult of times, but each also has its history of wrong doings, violence, and inequality. I am not proud to be white. I am proud to be me.

I had a past life where I was taken from georgia,us where i was taken to a state up north in the underground rail road it was not free it , the train ride was paid by a white person that believe in the freedom of black slaves in America.

@globalsbc, the Natives did not hold slaves, in the same manner, to which the settlers did. Come on now. Do all the research, not just a part of it. The truth is, the settlers plan was to keep both underfoot, duh. Slaves held by tribes were really free people.

@MankoLKR, I sooo agree with you. I'll add this. There are tons of white people, who don't speak proper English so, how can some people even say, "their trying to be white" It's not about white/black, it's about being able to communicate and be heard. Society will find other ways to judge you.
