http://www.nucleusinc.com/medical-animation This 3D medical animation shows arthroscopic surgery on the knee joint to remove free-floating cartilage and replace it with a Lifenet tissue graft. Prior to surgery, the joint is prepared by filling it with fluid. Next, the surgeon inserts an arthroscope in order to visualize the torn meniscal cartilage, and remove the tissue with a cutting tool. Later, a Lifenet tissue graft will be sewn into place.

  • Very cool animation on knee arthroscopy surgery!

  • This knee surgery medical animation is so helpful in understanding this procedure. When the doctor tells you the surgery is minimally invasive, only seeing is believing!

  • @SillyBoyBlue83 1 day and I was out of hospital. It might have been earlier but I have 2 other operations. I honestly find that my knee is such at benefit now and I'm hoping to run in the new year. I'm so happy and without pain now. It will feel quite tight and like a ripping sensation but it's Ok. Give it a few weeks and you will be well on your mend.

  • @pinje How was it and how was the recovery time ? Please reply as i may have to get this done depending on my MRI scan Thanks

  • Just got it done two days ago.

  • On average how long is the recovery period for this surgery? Let's say someone has this surgery next month, will the knee be back at 100% by next September if everything goes well?
