I saw another guy on youtube do this song like I do and it inspired me to learn it. His video isn't up here anymore. I don't know why, his version kills mine. Oh, about the profane language or the racially significant words that are awkward for me to use-- please excuse me, I'm just covering a song I like, I'm not trying to push anyones buttons. Hope you all enjoy!

A few people have requested chords to this cover. Here you go:

A minor add 11 (5x553x)
D minor 7 (x5356x)
A minor (5xx55x)
Ab minor (4xx44x)
G minor (3xx33x)
C 9 (x32333)

That's all of the chords.

Then there's the little tag that comes every 4th time... I think every 4th time, right after the D minor. I'm just going to write out, in the order they occur, what's being played, you'll have to listen to the video and watch to pick up the slide and rhythm.
(7x7xxx)
(5x5xxx)
(7x7xxx)
(8x8xxx(
(10x10xxx)

But, I recommend playing along with Biggie's version because my rhythm is not quite the same as his, and you might just want to play along w/ him until you start feeling something that sits well with yourself. If you're planning on learning the rap over this, definitely, definitely, definitely DO NOT kill yourself trying to play it my way exactly the same. That'll probably be a tedious process. Instead, you want to find a way to play it that's easy for you and sits in the groove. Having it sit in the groove, or the pocket as drummers sometimes say, is the key to being able to rap and play. I'm long winded, I apologize, the point is, you have the chords and such to play along with my video, but make sure it sounds good to you when you play alone, regardless if it's like mine. Hope that helps! Good luck!

  • 1:27 BABY BABY!!!

  • @HeartBreakKid1996 yeah and no. a true artist does what he or she wants to because they like it. a conforming artist does what he or she is told because they want the money or the love

  • @Cdino88 No. Artists become better by reacting positively to feedback

  • @HeartBreakKid1996 well that is just your opinion. artists didn't become artists by listening to the opinions of their critics

  • @Cdino88 Not at all, but the whole feel of that song was slow. If you make it faster, it doesn't sound right. It was Biggie, not 2pac.

  • @HeartBreakKid1996 called a cover. you think all artists that cover another artist's song follow exactly what the original did. i'm gonna be recording my big poppa cover soon

  • I loved what you did man, i used most of your chords but i kind of jazzed it up, but thanks for the inspiration man! kudos!

  • Nice!

  • Make your own song and try to get studio time

  • i wanna see all you haters try and do that. :p
