Testing the IBK - Keyer and Primatte in Nuke. I also did the tracking. The background is far from being finished...

The footage was provided as part of the Nuke 301 course at www.fxphd.com.

  • @sugars01 This is an fxphd.com tutorial aimed at teaching keying, specifically IBK keyer. The track was provided from pftrack. If you wanna get into nuke, also look at Steve Wright's videos. I forget if he is associated with fxphd but nonetheless they are worth the watch if you already know compositing and want a quick-clean rundown of the nuke features without the project based fxphd style.

  • are there any other, better online courses, or can i comfortably do mines at fxphd. thinking baout starting anyadvice would be appreciated.

  • @thoughtgrenades thats actually really good to know, thanks

  • @dementedrhinofilms Nope. I've actually imported video. Can't recall if .avi or .mov but it sure did work

  • @thoughtgrenades only jpeg sequences though right?

  • @dementedrhinofilms Photoshop CS5 can import video & work on it :)

  • fxphd Nuke 301...the tracking was done using PFTrack and then exported to 3ds max
