  • @WinstonSmith Hey, I actually did weigh in with a letter, not that it did any good. Worse yet, I LIVE where this crap is being planted. GMO sugar beets too...and I'm a heirloom seed saver. So, rioting wasn't what I had in mind but conspiracy is probably what'd I'd be charged with....

  • @Conspiracy2Riot There's one more letter to write before you riot... Google "The Organic Elite Surrenders to Monsanto: What Now?"

Its about Organic, Inc (UNFI, Whole Foods, Stoneyfield, Organic Valley, etc.) giving the green light to USDA bureaucrats to approve the "conditional deregulation" of Monsanto's genetically engineered roundup herbicide-resistant alfalfa. We all have to "write" to them with by taking our business elsewhere, then maybe they'll listen.

  • @WinstonSmith that's because the USDA and the USG bow to the will of Big Agri, the Petro Chemical Corps, Energy Sector, Bank and Finance...short of getting real radical we don't have much chance here. Everything is about 'trade', but the waste that occurs in that trade is insane. And the subsidies given to these filthy rich violaters of the Earth is criminal. So. At what point do we say 'enough' and mean it? I'm not talking about a letter writing campaign and a few peaceful protests here.

  • @zykos you have a very valid point there, zykos.

  • I'm seriously thinking the USDA is the single most evil department, save for the Pentagon.

  • I love the beginning of this video. :) It's the best opening on an LBAM vid I've seen. The name, Weapons of Moth Destruction is great! We have an apple tree here in the Bay Area and every year it produces sweeter and bigger and better apples. Last year was the best crop ever.

  • you are acting like a moron sir. Yes, we are made of chemicals, ORGANIC chemicals! we aren't made of poisons, there are very different types of chemicals, and you are acting like a 2nd grader to talk like they are all the same. go a head, hate hippies but don't defend truly irresponsible actions by the corporate controled government.

do you want to breath plastic nano-pellets for the next 3 years? (where do you live)

  • will it be shown in santa cruz?

  • I thought the video was good until I heard him claim the USA is a democracy. Other than that, the threat is very real and we must take action, NOW!

  • Well done! Really puts it all into perspective. The comments by Helene Wright of USDA were telling. If California doesn't do it, the feds will? Splatter our homes and playgrounds and shopping malls to protect the rest of the country and our trading partners from a moth that has been here for decades and not even hurt a flea?
