Unique... Hendrix would be impressed..Ian's taken some slack so has John but there is no-one out there like the original line-up...unless you could get Nirvana to reform! Ian can sign when he can be bothered.

@papaclanc *facepalm* HENDRIX wrote Voodoo Chile

@Bulldog22031 It def DOES have some similarity, eh? SVR was deeply influential, no doubt. Never noted the connection before. Thanks.
Still, I dont think a judge would be awarding any profits from the sale of Love Spreads to SVR's estate. It aint THAT close (unlike The Verve losing their lawsuit to the Stones for example).

I know everybody seems to hate Second Coming, but from what I've heard of it so far on this track it seems pretty class!

@damo185x The lyrics, written by John Squire, are an attack on the traditional image of Jesus. Squire portrays the crucifixion of the Messiah with a black woman on the cross. This continued the band's theme of questioning the depiction of Christ, which first appeared on the track, "I Am The Resurrection." (according to Wikipedia).

@papaclanc Funny because it is pretty much a copy of Voodoo Chile

@damo185x it's about what if Jesus was a black woman. Get yourself £20

You know how you hear songs where everything is incredible: lyrics, vocals, guitar playing, bass, drumming - well this is one of them.
