@RCAHEDS1992 One of the fundamental rules of flight [and these AT802s are sensitive to this]is calculation of weight distribution. Now if you think your floats may be leaking you would NEVER got to full throttle as
1- you dont know if you are still below MTOW
2- acceleration will force water to trailing edge of float making it impossible to 'step' the aircraft.
Pilot should have shutdown engine when it first struck the water at 0:20 seconds. That is the correct procedure.

He is an amazing pilot for continuing to make power runs into water until the turbine is shock cooled and stressed out and the propeller has taken a a total shit kicking. Solid decision making there. Amazing skills
