The Meathead backcountry crew started the new decade shredding a generous Nor'easter storm that blanketed the region with 30". Tony Rossi, Ben Leoni and Asia Magriby braved the woods and winds of Jay Peak, VT, carefully navigating thin cover in the glades.

Meanwhile, up in Sugarloaf, ME a pre-dawn cat ride dropped Dan Marion, Stacey Rachdorf and the McDermott brothers on top of the mountain for first tracks hunting. After airing off some boulders and skiing whatever freshies they could find, the guys ended up "misdirected" for 3 hours in the Maine backcountry.
