This is my first attempt at cutting against a more realistic target. The sword is a Cheness Tenchi, and it cut through the deer so easily and cleanly that I drove it right into the ground--hence the flying snow. The deer was a road kill that was about 24hrs hold. No animals were harmed in the making of this film. Next time I find a fresh road kill at my place I'll get over my squeamishness, gut it, and to a more thorough testing.

  • je vous drais te fair cas au ci a vaique ton katana ! conard oui conard !!!!

  • @eliotudino Google n'a pas pu traduire ce que vous disiez. Désolé.

  • Lol 58 people watched this video and disliked it. Mind you that they red the title before watching it. It just shows how dumb people are. Hey but don't feel bad, I thought a unicorn was going to pop out to. then the keebler elves were going to give everyone a cookie. Lol it is what it is, thumbs up I like it. Clean cut.

  • @tilt909sb If the Keeble elves ever pop out if I get the opportunity again, I'll make sure to send you a cookie. Your post made me laugh out loud as I read it.

  • A bit odd.

If you'd went out and killed a deer, then cut it up I could say this was good, but you've gone out, cut up some random road kill, then talked about doing it more...

Learn how to cook deer or something to lessen the creep factor. I feel like I'm watching a video being featured on a documentary about serial killers.

  • @leeham991 A while ago I took the time to make a longer response on a forum site called the sword buyer's guide. If you type the ID code from this video into google and type sword buyer guide, it should bring it up. It's on page 5 or so.

    Have a good one.

  • Lol sounds good if i see one ill be waiting with my pellet gun. Not to kill it but just to wound it so its friens will come out and try to help thrn i could have all the cookies! Hahaha ha!!!

  • @leeham991 If I was a guy who drove around looking for dead things that I could randomly hit with a sword, I would agree that it's serial killer type stuff.

  • @leeham991 The deer was road kill that had been gnawed on by coyotes. Even if it hadn't been gnawed on, it's illegal to butcher road kill. It wasn't random, I live in the country and it was on my property. I do know how to cook deer, and I did this because I was trying to increase my own knowledge base when it comes to swords--I've been a competitive fighter in sword based martial arts for 20 years. I admit it was gross, even in my note on the video.

  • @john050994 replying to #2--yup, I had never seen how I cut things before, and since I heat with firewood, now I know that I raise up a bit when I swing while cutting wood.

    3. Japanese did test cuts too. I didn't know exactly what would happen. Knowledge was gained.

    4. As repeated often below, it was a semi about 100' away and they couldn't see through the trees.

    5. Shall side? Diangular? This opportunity arose, I took it.
