Hey could you upload the first song that you first showed in this video?
-
@kylgrv No the Bumpy Skin reference sounds like The Land Before Time, Rugrats or Planet of Dinosaurs.
-
"Were dinosaurs warm blooded?" there's the Blue Shark theme from Undersea Adventure again! Which i also have that Game. It's also runs on MS DOS expept that it is more updated.
-
@kylgrv You know what, that music reminds me more of the ghost house theme in Mario World (which is also remixed in Super Mario Galaxy 2) than it does the castle theme.
And yes, I was surprised to hear that you haven't played Super Mario World, again. I guess Yoshi is basically a Nanotyrannus with boots and the jaws exchanged for a chameleon tongue?
-
@kylgrv If you haven't played Super Mario World now's the time to get on it, unless you absolutely hate 2D platformers.
Sorry if this post looks arrogant, but I was surprised that you hadn't played Mario World.

I could also mention how it's ironic for Archaeopteryx to show up in the Carnosaurs picture, since I think Carnosaurs are the theropod dinosaurs who are actually less closely related to birds than Coelurosaurs (such as Velociraptor and T. Rex) were.
-
@LinkMarioSamus Obviously by "carnivorous" I meant "Theropod".
-
@kylgrv Apparently "Coelurosaur" is supposed to refer to any carnivorous dinosaur that was more closely related to birds than to Carnosaurs. So other examples of Coelurosaurs include Therizinosaurus, Troodon, Velociraptor, Microraptor, Ornithomimus, and Tyrannosaurus. Also birds are of course part of this "super family".
The song that plays on "Dinosaurs' Bumpy Skin" reminds me of the castle theme in Super Mario World.

@LinkMarioSamus I haven't played that game but the music does seem spooky.

In the picture showing the Coelurosaur family, what are the other two dinosaurs (aside from Coelophysis)?
Yeah that dinosaur skin looks like a crocodile's skin all right. Conversely crocodilians, lizards (especially the Komodo Dragon), and even snakes look somewhat like dinosaurs, especially when opening their mouths.

@LinkMarioSamus The other dinosaurs are Ornitholestes and Compsognathus.
