iPhone: Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Spring Hill trailer

Sonic the Hedgehog is back, in Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode one, available at the end of 2010 on Playstation Network, Xbox Live and the App Store.

This is the latest trailer from Sega, demonstrating Sonic is back to his original, 2D platformer routes with 3D visuals taking care of the looks.

Sonic 4 is a direct sequel to Sonic and Knuckles, which fans will no doubt appreciate.

The level is the first from the game, Spring Hill Zone.

They actually swapped the name from Spring Hill to Splash Hill after releasing the trailer. This video was posted before the final name was confirmed.

Very disappointed with this game. The controls are really awkward. Sonic stops dead in mid air if you're not pushing forward (How is that physically possible?!) And why the hell does he unfurl after rolling up a ramp?! If you land on an enemy you're dead!

I hate the homing attack. It takes away from the original sonic. when that attack was brought into the sonic world, the games really started to suck
