I know every genre of music has its place and blah blah blah eye of the beholder, but who the fuck can listen to shit like jack johnson and every other garbage, overly emotive mainstream, insipid ass artist wearing some cliche about love and relationships to the ground....after experiencing the power of metal?

It takes balls to shred with that kind of ultra-raw tone, no covering up mistakes at all. That's why Lynch is so much better than guys like Vai, Satriani etc and all the other computer-sounding guys

@HeavyMetalsAdvocate I completely agree with you. It's the 90s mtv that started to label it "hair metal" and it continues with today's dumbasses who don't have respect for it.
It's as ridiculous as if some of todays bands would be called "bald metal" because they shave their heads!!

Like what's up with "being themselves". There's staging in everything, but the one thing isn't more real than the other. They've looked like this since the get, I'd say they're sincere. It's the Heavy Metal image with styled looks. Cool to me.
