From horse riding in a sprawling park amidst fresh greenery to getting your dead skins eaten by tiny Dr Fish in a little wading pool, Singapore is not without its share of "syok-ness". And all these happening at your own backyard or neighbourhood.
Throughout the seven episodes of the series Singapura Syok, viewers will soak in the different activities and lifestyle as well as feel the pulse of the community.
Your boy-next-door host Haizad will take viewers to sample the different activities and even partake in some of them. Together with a co-host who is a well-known personality living in the neighbourhood, they go on an adventure, covering places, some of which off-beaten and undiscovered, as well as meeting the faces of the community. And close to every Singaporean's heart, they go on a culinary journey, tucking into scrumptious local food such as a $12 hokkien mee with oyster and murtabak power.
At some point of the programme, they go on a challenge -- whether it's a bmx race or kneading flour to make bread or catching prawns, these challenges were met with such gusto that viewers feel the excitement together with them.
At the end of each episode, viewers (whether from the neighbourhood featured or other places) will realise, hey, there are things to do and discover at every nooks and corners of the island. So Syok! Singapore...
