My favorit is Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel, with Aloe Vera Formula, Alcohol-Free Toner, it's cheap. Only $7.66 for 355ml. I have combination/problem skin. is it the Philosophy Purity?, i also just used Clinique clarifying lotion 4, dramatically moisturizing gel, & lady gave me a sample of ddf benzoyl cuz i was about to return the purity cuz i thought it was breaking me out but she convinced me to used it for more than 2 days, i used it everthing with clarisonic:]. im hoping this routine works

P&G does not test on animals. That division was discontinued in the mid 90's. However, the FDA requires all "new" chemicals to be animal tested prior to human use. I know I'm not willing to use "new" products, e.g. eye drops, on my children that have not been tested to some extent. There are companies out there that claim "No animal testing" which menas they are not making anything new or they are not in compliance with the FDA.

@buckeye0620 P&G is one of the most well known animal testers and admittedly does so while still claiming to work on "developing" alternatives that have likely already been developed. The FDA does NOT require animal testing on cosmetics, you can check their website for proof.

My family works for DDF and I'm curious what you have against Procter & Gamble? P&G is a good company and generous to the communities in which they are located. BTW the DDF BP gel is 2.0 oz. not as you mentioned.

@buckeye0620 I personally chose not to purchase P&G products any longer due to the fact that they still test on animals. Some may or may not agree with this, but that is my personal choice. I have also since stopped purchasing any DDF products for this reason which is unfortunate because I do think they have some good products but there are other alternatives that are made by cruelty free companys.
