  • then, we tested the ms50dr using the dtx drum. in my opinion, this type of amp is the nearest u can get to real drum sound. to my ears, still not sounding real tho, but at least far better than those keyboard amp, pA and bass amp.

so, here is the ranking (best to worst): drum amp, studio monitor, PA, keyboard, bass amp. well computer amp like logitech with sub is nice too (surprisingly), however the bass is too murky and muddy.

  • what about drum amp?

well, yesterday went to music shop to find a suitable amp for my edrum.

this is what my ears and those people in the shop tell:

    1. keyboard amp 150Wlaney. not enough highs, and fake kick sound.

2.bass amp. worse than keyboard amp. sucks wihtout highs.bass ok, still the kick sounds fake.

    3. studio monitor. too accurate, bass is not enough. ok for room use, not for bad practice coz not that loud. kick also still sounds fake.

    4. PA system. loud but not enough highs and bass.

  • i play an acoustic its not mine... i want an electric but know nothing about it... Help on getting one please?

  • @youfreaker Just as stereo. No big deal 5.1 surround or just stereo 2.1/

  • a bit of common sense is all it takes!!! what was the point in that>??? expert village videos are pointless!! a carrot would now how to do all that!!

  • in the intro he sounds like a robot

  • sounds like a gorilla!!lol

  • Steve is creepy.

  • Better still, I'm running my expanded TD-10 and Td-6V through a Mackie mixer and then into some bi-amped Event studio monitors. The only problem is, once you get used to hearing them like this, nothing else sounds as good!

  • i have 2 giant pineer 60 watt home speakers hooked up to my TD-9. they sound beautiful:)
