@theblackhand2 Actually, I believe the organ in the back of the church is the Aeolian Skinner...and the organ in the front was built new by Fratelli Ruffatti, of Padua, Italy for the original Garden Grove Community Church (the building they were in before Crystal Cathedral was built), and then it was enlarged when they moved to the current building. You are correct though, the two smaller portions to the sides are where the horizontal trumpets are.
The organ at the Crystal Cathedral has over 17,000 pipes. The section of the organ behind the choir stalls comes from a Skinner concert hall organ while the portion in the rear gallery comes from a Raffatt church organ. The two smaller portions w/ the horizontal pipe work to each side of the sanctuary are the organ's trumpette enchamade or horizontal trumpets. I do have a recording of this organ. Believe me the organ is gloriously powerful.
