Ikari loader begins at 1:03 and title music at 4:46. Original release was made for c64 in 1986 by Data East. This is the remake by Elite. Elite loader wasn't actually used in this game, but it might as well been added because the loading takes so long. Elite & Ikari loaders by Mark Cooksey (1985 & 1988), title / ingame music by Jason C. Brooke (1988).

Check out my longplay video if you like, it was done without savestates.

  • Elite actually redid the game, I had the awful Data East version. The UK had the better of the two by a country mile.

  • Thanks for pointing this out. I never tried the Data East version myself. I corrected re-release" to "remake" in the description.

  • The first song is a very good version of "Living on video" by "Trans-X".

I think it was a canadian band, the song must be from 1983 or '84... Look for the song here on Youtube and read more on Wikipedia.
