What, did they destroy them already or they just tightened up security? I skated em like once, but I was kinda like "who cares?". It's basically just a skatepark ledge next to the water, nothing special, really.

Total truth. It's all flat and it's so dense that there's very little skateable architecture. I also find it annoying that I don't have a car here to keep shit like an extra shirt or a skate tool or whatever. You bring a bag and leave it and you can expect that shit to get stolen ASAP.

I hope you don't mean literally clean, New York is dirty as fuck. The worst thing lately is dog shit residue everywhere because dumbasses keep moving here and getting dogs and the only place for them to poop is the sidewalk. You're supposed to bring them to the curb, but the stupid trust fund kids don't give a shit.
